Bucks and Hens. Or for us Americans, Bachelor and Bachelorette party. But I like Bucks and Hens better, don’t you?
Each party made great use of the Sonoma area and went for tastings! The ladies, or Hens (ok, maybe I don’t like it as much now that I’m being called a fowl), went for a classy Champagne tasting at Sigh in Sonoma Square. And then Bucks went a more rambunctious route of Karting, followed by Beer Tasting at the Sonoma County Distilling Co.
I love the quote on Sigh’s website, “The sound of the cork escaping from a bottle of Champagne should mimic the SIGH of a contented woman.” I wish this was plastered on their walls because my first thought was “well that’s an odd name for a Champagne Bar”. But now I totally get it and love it! Jayme did such a wonderful job with our little Bridal Shower. The treats were great and the Champagnes she selected for us to taste were so fabulous! She even brought out a SABER…yes…a Sword…to open up a bottle of champagne for us. That’s a neat party trick I’ll have to remember for the future!
